At the time, &#8216;nduja was still a little-known product outside Calabria: few had tasted it, even fewer knew what it really was. <\/p><p data-start=\"407\" data-end=\"774\">I was starting with my partner (from Calabria) a business selling typical Southern Italian products, and the e-commerce site, Inari.it, had &#8216;nduja as its spearhead. At the &#8216;beginning of my career as an SEO, I thought that creating a site entirely dedicated to this salami could help make it known and, at the same time, increase the visibility of our e-commerce.<\/p><p data-start=\"776\" data-end=\"959\">It was a targeted SEO tactic: the first and practically only experiment of this kind that I carried out at the time, precisely because &#8216; nduja was our flagship product and deserved special &#8216; attention.<\/p><p data-start=\"961\" data-end=\"1282\">With today&#8217;s eyes, the site was not as complete as I would have liked &#8211; which is why I recently completely rewrote its contents &#8211; but in 2005 it was a <strong data-start=\"1107\" data-end=\"1134\">mine of information<\/strong> on the subject. So much so that <strong data-start=\"1155\" data-end=\"1214\">it was cited as a source in Wikipedia&#8217;s bibliography<\/strong> (the link has since been replaced by more up-to-date sources) and received accolades that still make me proud today. <\/p><p data-start=\"1284\" data-end=\"1608\">Among the most prestigious mentions is that of the British newspaper <strong data-start=\"1353\" data-end=\"1369\">The Guardian<\/strong>, which in 2020 included Nduja.info in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/food\/2020\/jun\/30\/penne-for-your-thoughts-how-to-choose-pasta-shapes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">article<\/a> devoted to the choice of pasta shapes and ideal toppings.<\/p><p data-start=\"1610\" data-end=\"1978\">After Inari closed, I pursued my SEO career in other areas, working on very different projects. But &#8216;nduja &#8211; and good food more generally &#8211; has remained a great passion of mine.
